Learn HTML
You should learn the basics of HTML. HTML is the basic language of the web, but it's also one of the most important languages for web developers to know.
HTML is used to create websites and apps using a markup language that defines how content is displayed on a page, such as text and images. If you want to create websites or mobile apps, then you'll need to have some knowledge in this area because it will help you find jobs if you can write code that other people can use!
Learn CSS
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a language to describe the presentation of a document written in a markup language. CSS is used to style the look and layout of a website. It allows you to change the appearance of text, images and other elements on your page without having to write out each individual element's HTML code.
CSS works by telling browsers how they should display things like fonts, colors and borders so that they have control over how these things appear on screen rather than relying upon built-in styles within HTML itself. This means that when you create an HTML file using plain old HTML5 syntax without any special styling rules added in beforehand then it’s up to those browsers which are installed on your computer or device whether they support these extra styles or not - which means there could be many different results depending upon which browser was used! To avoid this problem we can use external files called "style sheets" instead where all our styling information will be stored as one complete set instead so everything looks consistent across devices regardless what version we're using currently."
Learn JavaScript
It's used to add functionality to a website, such as animations and interactivity. You can also use it to create user interfaces that are familiar to users of applications like Facebook and Twitter.
JavaScript is written in the same way as other programming languages like C++ or C#; you need an editor that supports it (like WebStorm) when writing code for your project. This article will show you how simple tasks like adding a button or getting information from an API can be achieved with just some JavaScript code!
Learn jQuery
If you're going to be building websites, it's important to learn jQuery. It's a cross-platform JavaScript library that simplifies the client-side scripting of HTML. The downside of jQuery is that it's not always easy to use and requires some knowledge of JavaScript, but once you understand how it works, you'll find yourself building more complex websites with less effort.
jQuery was developed by John Resign in 2006 as a fast, small, and feature-heavy library for working with DOM elements (Document Object Model). Since then, jQuery has grown into one of the most popular libraries used by web developers worldwide today—and for good reason!
Learn Git and GitHub
Git is a version control system. Version control systems help you keep track of changes to your code, which is useful if you're working on multiple projects at once or collaborating with others. It's like keeping good notes in case someone needs to reference them later.
GitHub is a web-based hosting service. You can store all the changes that have been made to any given project on GitHub so that anyone else who wants access can see what's been changed and how it changed it, allowing them more flexibility when working on their own projects in isolation from those of others around them (which sometimes helps avoid conflict).
Develop local environment on your own computer (for example XAMPP or WAMP)
This is the most important step in becoming a web developer. You need to learn how to set up a local environment on your own computer (for example XAMPP or WAMP).
If you don't know how to do this, then it's very difficult for you as an amateur web developer because many times when other people ask me for help with their website files and databases, I can't help them because they don't have local environments.
Develop your websites using code editor like Atom, Sublime Text etc.
Code editors are the best tool for a web developer. They allow you to write code and then see the results immediately in real time, without having to save it or click on a button.
There are many different code editors out there, but we recommend Atom, Sublime Text and Visual Studio Code (formerly known as Visual Studio Code).
The main benefits of using an editor like these is that they allow you to focus on what matters most - writing code - rather than wasting time learning how to use them properly (which will happen anyway). You don't need any previous experience with programming languages; all you need is patience!
Host your website locally on your computer and share with your family and friends.
Hosting your website locally on your computer and sharing with your family and friends is an important step in the development process.
Hosting a website locally means you are using your own computer's resources to host the website. This allows you to test your website before going live with it, so that if something doesn't work as expected, you can fix it immediately instead of having to wait for someone else's server (i.e., Google) to respond back with an error message when trying to view pages within their own platform!
Build a basic website of your own and add to GitHub.
You can find a developer who will work with you on code and have them build your website. This is a great way to learn how to code, but it can be time-consuming if you don't have the skills required for this task.
If you do decide to hire a developer, be sure that they know what they're doing before starting work on your project. It's also important that they have experience working with clients like yours so that things go smoothly from start to finish—and if there are any issues along the way (like when something doesn't work), then there should be someone else who knows enough about the technology involved (C#) who can help out!
Get GitHub Repository link and add to your resume.
GitHub is a code repository, but it's also a social network for developers. It allows you to share your code with other people, collaborate on projects and build websites together.
GitHub gives you a way to build an online portfolio of your work and share it with potential employers or clients. If you're looking for an easy way to showcase what you can do as a web developer then GitHub is definitely worth taking advantage of!
Become a website developer
You can become a website developer by learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If you are not familiar with these language then you should start learning them as soon as possible.
I hope these tips are helpful for you as you begin your journey into the exciting world of website development.
